  • Spring onion chopped

Step by Step Method to Make Egg Fried Rice

Step 1

Prepare the Eggs

  1. Heat one tablespoon oil in a pan.
  2. Crack the eggs and scramble them lightly.
  3. Cook until soft and keep aside.

Step 2

Cook the Vegetables

  1. Add one tablespoon oil in the pan.
  2. Add onion carrot and peas.
  3. Cook for two to three minutes.
  4. Keep the vegetables slightly crisp.

Step 3

Add the Rice

  1. Add the cooked rice to the pan.
  2. Mix gently so the grains do not break.
  3. Add salt pepper and soy sauce.
  4. Cook on medium heat.

Step 4

Add Eggs and Finish

  1. Add the scrambled eggs back into the pan.
  2. Mix gently with the rice.
  3. Add chopped spring onion.
  4. Switch off the heat.

The rice should smell fresh and look colorful.
